Generally, the working part of the mold selection of materials is better than other parts. Different materials are usually used in accordance with the requirements of the mould. There are four main types:
1, For the processing small size stamping parts and simple shape die working parts often use carbon tool steel, such as T8A, T10A, etc..
2, For the processing large size stamping parts and complex shape die working parts often use alloy tool steel or high-speed tool steel, such as CrWMn, Cr12MoV, W18Cr4V, W6MoSCr4V2 etc..
3, For stamping parts precision or die life requirements of relatively high mold work parts, commonly used hard alloy or steel bonded carbide YG15, YG20, GW50, etc..
4, For large-scale mold work parts, commonly used ordinary cast iron or cast steel, and the cutting edge to be welded to strengthen, such as gray cast iron HT250, cast steel 2G270-500, etc..
